-As yet, marriage is untraced (12/08/2007) - there are no James Carson records that seem appropriate, and there are many marriage regns for Sarah French. Until FreeBMD completes all registrations there's no way I can cross-index records to find a link.10 - James Page was a Private in the Militia on 1 December 1858 and had previously been a builder's labourer.11
- James was a member of the Oxfordshire Militia in 1858/1859. This was disbanded in 1860. Might this be the reason for the family move to London where they are in 1861?
