- John Carson was working as a Tea dealer in 1830 at Wallingford, Oxon/Berks.5
- He was working as a Draper in 1835.6
- A possible death registration for John is recorded in the December 1838 quarter in the Shoreditch Registration District in Middlesex.7
- He died on 7 February 1839 at Strand on the Green, Chiswick, London, Middlesex; This could be John, but the age here is about 10 years too young (maybe).
Did he die in a hospital where he wasn't well known? An Attendant is present at the death- does that mean in a hospital or some other institution? Why no medical certification - was that usual in those days?
This John being described as a Tea dealer and the same description being used in Wallingford for John's occupation in 1830 may be a coincidence, but it seems unlikely. The later Carson connections to London also seem to be in Ealing which is not far from Chiswick.8 - A possible death registration for John is recorded in the March 1839 quarter in the Brentford Registration District in Middlesex.9
- He was working as a Shopkeeper.10
- He died before 1841.11
